Sales Consultant at Nicholas Anthony

Branches – Essex, London & Cambridge showroom-based roles are available

An exciting opportunity exists to join the sales team of Nicholas Anthony, a multi-location, family run business, which has been proudly designing luxury kitchens, bathrooms and home interiors since 1963.

Positions are currently available at each branch – London, Chelmsford, Ascot and Cambridge.

With a commitment to excellence at the core of our business, the successful applicant will possess the following skills and attributes:

  1. A proven “closer” who can build strong relationships with our customers and sell them the best possible products.
  2. You will spend a lot of time following up leads, and booking appointments, so you cannot be afraid to pick up the phone and speak to people you have never spoken to before.
  3. You will use your flair for interior design, to create spectacular designs using CAD, that our customers will love!
  4. Self-Motivated: It’s the old cliché “You get out what you put into it”, but it really is true. If you think of your desk like it’s your own business, and treat it like so, you will find this to be a hugely rewarding role.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  6. Address client queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
  7. Provide ongoing support throughout the design and installation process.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Sales Designer in the kitchen and bathroom industry.
  2. Strong sales skills with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed targets.
  3. Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Articad, KBB Connect, etc.).
  4. Solid knowledge of interior design principles and trends.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Must have a portfolio of previous work.
  9. Must be a consummate professional who takes complete responsibility for their work.
  10. Technical knowledge required.
  11. Must drive and have own car. (Not required for London)
  12. Saturday working required. Sundays off + 1 weekday.
  13. Working hours: 9.00-17:30. ( London Showroom Hours 9.30 – 18.00)

Networking:

  1. Actively reach out to builders, developers, Interior Designers & Architects via LinkedIn, phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings to explore and establish contract supply opportunities, fostering long-term business relationships and expanding our client base.

Showroom Maintenance:

  1. Keep the showroom clean, organised, and updated with the latest designs and products.
  2. Assist in setting up new displays and removing outdated ones.
