By rethinking the layout of their home and moving the kitchen upstairs, the Turner’s have created an  inviting family kitchen. Shades of warm grey and taupe create a modern blend of neutrals, in finishes which have a subtle sheen. These colours also offer natural harmony with the walnut floor and the plants and trees seen through the glass doors and picture windows.

The large Corian island worktop meausures 1800 x 1885mm, and was brought upstairs in sections, and assembled on site. The joins are virtually invisible, so the entire worktop has a beautifully seamless finish.

There are three distinct zones in this room, one area houses the sink and is used for clearing away, one area has a bank of tall units to house the ovens and fridge-freezer, and then there is a central area to link the two, so it made sense to attach it to one corner of the room.

The dining table leads on to the kitchen and terrace with an easy sense of flow. Tall units in Silver Brown matt lacquer feature a hint of silver sparkle, lifting the look from a flat tone downstairs.
